Invaluable lessons in life from Father, says Neetish Sarda

From the power of humility and integrity and to never stopping until one achieves his dream, a strong example of Neetish Sarda, entrepreneur of Smartworks was lead by his father Ghanshyam Sarda where his son followed his footsteps to establish his successful business.


Neetish Sarda understood the importance of one’s dream from his dad, in a statement he says that “one of the greatest lessons I learned from my father was to follow my dream, no matter what obstacles come in that way. He taught me not to be afraid of taking risks, staying relevant and current, and ensuring a healthy work-life balance, and today as I lead Smartworks towards new avenues, I understand the values of those each lesson. 


The young entrepreneur has surely lead by his dad who owns a jute business and is very successful at that. Neetish Sarda understood the importance of humility and patience from his father to make his own brand successful and a rewarding one. 


The one teaching principle he relied on from his father’s teaching was to forever remain indebted to never stop chasing your dreams solve the most complicated problems with the most simple solutions and to never stop looking for answers. 


Neetish Sarda is the founder of Smartworks, India’s leading provider of agile workspaces has been recently named as the Promising Entrepreneur of India at the Economic Times Promising Entrepreneur of India, 2019. As he understood the dynamics of the corporate world by working under the shadow of his father, he decided not to join his family business and chose to become an entrepreneur generating a revenue of 2.1 million in a short span of 2 years. 


His father Ghanshyam Sarda is a Calcutta-based businessman and the owner of INR 2500 Crores Sarda Group of Industries which operates mainly in the jute and information technology industry, both father and son with their strong leadership skills have owed their success to establish such pioneer organizations in the industry.
